Associate

Richard Tulis is an Associate in MendenFreiman’s business law practice group, where he regularly represents private companies and their owners and stakeholders in the context of corporate transactions, commercial real estate transactions, commercial lending transactions, regulatory compliance matters, and general corporate governance.  With past experience in navigating complex buy- and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and venture capital transactions in the middle market, as well as antitrust filings under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, Richard is a well rounded corporate attorney who enjoys helping clients achieve their business ventures no matter the size of the deal.

Prior to joining MendenFreiman in 2023, Richard was an associate at one of Atlanta’s premier corporate technology law firms, where he practiced private mergers & acquisitions and private equity and venture capital transactions, primarily in the technology and insurance sectors.  Before graduating from law school at the University of Georgia, Richard interned at the United States Securities & Exchange Commission in its Washington, D.C. headquarters and its Atlanta Regional Office as a Student Honors Program Intern for the Commission’s Division of Enforcement.
