Associate

Emily Curl is an associate in MendenFreiman’s estate planning, estate administration, tax planning, and tax controversy practice areas. She focuses her practice on assisting clients protect their assets and plan for the future while minimizing taxes.  Additionally, she helps clients manage their tax liabilities with the Internal Revenue Service.

Emily enjoys the personal side of practicing law. She has the desire to build meaningful relationships with her clients so that she is able to guide them through both practical and legal situations as they arise. By forming long-lasting relationships, Emily is able to help clients plan for the future and provide guidance as the client’s family grows and develops.

Prior to joining MendenFreiman in 2023, Emily was employed as a Staff Attorney at King & Spalding, LLP.  She has also worked as an outside counsel guidelines analyst, a communications intern for Governor Nathan Deal, in fundraising for a local non-profit organization, and at the Philip C. Cook Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic during law school.
